Introducing the KΩT Future Generations Campaign

KΩT has made an impact on countless lives through its commitment to friendship, tradition, and service. To ensure that we continue to thrive and support future generations, we are launching the KΩT Future Generations Campaign - a centralized fundraising effort to secure the continued growth and excellence of our brotherhood.

This aim of this campaign is to grow the C. Alton and Patricia B. Hassell Kappa Omega Tau Excellence Fund (“Hassell Fund”). Distributions from this endowed fund will underwrite our participation in traditions such as Sing, Float, campus events, and service projects.

This first-of-its-kind, all-out capital campaign will allow alumni, family, and friends to contribute and ensure KΩT’s financial stability into perpetuity. By raising an unprecedented amount of capital, we will guarantee that KΩT remains competitive and excellent in all that we do.

As we look forward to initiating our 2,000th member in the spring of 2025, we invite you to join us in securing financial prosperity for future generations of KΩT and upholding our standard of excellence. We cannot do this without you!

What does the fund support?

Every year, we devote countless hours to building a float for Baylor’s Homecoming parade in October. We recently earned 1st Place in the 2024 Homecoming Float competition with our spirited “Santa Claws Workshop.”

Float

KΩT produces a 7-minute Broadway-style performance for the annual All-University Sing Competition in February. This past spring, we earned our 21st 1st Place act with “Sweet Gingerbread Man.”

Campus Traditions

We will host the 58th annual Christmas on Fifth tree lighting ceremony this December, continuing our tradition of bringing joy to Baylor during the holidays. Profits from this campus-wide event go directly to our philanthropy, Unbound.

The men of KΩT serve Baylor and the greater Waco community every Saturday morning. This includes home building, food drives, trash pickups, furniture moves, lawn care, and more.
